Founded in 1984, Micro-Watt Control Devices Ltd. has been proudly serving the Western Canadian oil and gas industry for over 25 years. Our Calgary head office is home to our sales, marketing, finance, service and shipping departments. Continually focused on responding to the needs of our customers, we have grown to include four satellite locations in Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray and Fort St. John.
As an established leader in the supply of process control, safety and instrumentation products, Micro-Watt Controls services and sells to many different industries some of which include: oil and gas, pipelines, refineries, petrochemical facilities, pulp and paper, mining, food and beverage, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), engineering, construction, and municipal utilities. With an emphasis on finding new and innovative products, particularly those certified for use in hazardous locations, we continuously strive to offer our customers a diverse product mix to fulfill their needs.
From the beginning we recognised that our business was not to simply represent manufacturers. Representing and selling our products is of course the basis of what we do; however, we realise that our customers are looking for solutions – not just products. We therefore strive to provide complete solutions whenever possible and partner with our customers every step of way. Equipped to offer customer focused solutions, our Micro-Watt team is able to provide application consultation, training, on-site installation assistance, calibration and repair services. Maintaining a local stock of every product line we carry also enables us to effectively satisfy our customer’s most critical delivery situations.
Micro-Watt Controls enjoys an unequalled reputation for supporting the products we provide. Our certified technicians, located at all of our satellite locations, are professionally trained and factory certified. In addition to supporting all products we sell, we also provide start-up, commissioning, and calibration services.
